The dates for ESA 2013 Technology Harmonisation Process have been issued.
The 1st cycle Mapping Meeting will be held on Febraury 5-6th, whereas the 2nd one will take place on April 16-17th.
Industry representatives are invited but they must register through Eurospace; the agenda will be distributed as soon as made available by ESA.
The 2013 Harmonisation Process will deal with the following topics:
Technologies for Optical Passive Instruments – Stable and Lightweight Structures
Technologies for Optical Passive Instruments –Mirrors
AOCS Sensors and Actuators: Star Trackers, APS, IMU's and Wheels
Cryogenics and Focal Plane cooling
On Board Radio Navigation Receivers
Critical Active RF Technologies
Power Management and Distribution
In addition to the above, the finalisation on the Roadmap for the topic of Frequency & Time Generation and Distribution – Space, put on-hold in 2011, will take place in the first half of 2013.
The finalisation of the Composite Materials Roadmap, put on-hold in 2011, will also be addressed as part of one of the nominal harmonisation cycles in 2013. Eurospace will also be requested to comment the conclusions of the Composite Materials Workshop held in June 2011.
