At today's meeting of Eurospace Technology Harmonisation Panel, Dr Rolf Janovsky (OHB) was elected Co-Chair of the Panel, with full support of meeting participants.
The Eurospace Technology and R&T community is happy to welcome Dr Janovsky.
About Dr Janovsky:
Dr. Rolf Janovsky, born in 1962, graduated in 1988 in aeronautics and astronautics at the RWTH Aachen University. In 1994 he got his PhD from the same university with a thesis on horizontal take-off space transportation systems. Since 1994 Dr. Janovsky is employed by OHB System (Bremen), where he had various positions in the pre-development directorate. He was responsible for a number of projects related to manned and unmanned space transportation systems and orbital infrastructure. In 2001 he became head of the Future Transport System Department. From 2004 to 2007 he led the department for Orbital & Transport Systems and Exploration, in 2007 he became the director of pre-development and marketing. Presently, Dr. Janovsky is the head of the space system studies directorate and responsible for space system and technology pre-development in OHB System.
